As we age and naturally enjoy the sun a little too much (who can we blame as Sydney is blessed with great sunny weather!), one of the most common skin complaints is pigmentation, often a stubborn item. Hyperpigmentation essentially indicates areas of the skin that have become darker in colour than the surrounding skin, often resulting in a patchy or uneven appearance .There are two types of pigmentation. Hypopigmentation is whiter/paler than the rest of the skin.
With regular nightly skincare routine, you can definitely assist with reducing the appearance of dark patches, sun spots, age spots, and brighten overall complexion. The results will be gradual, so patience is required and depending on how deep the pigmentation is- results will differ for each individual person's skin. Total elimination of stubborn pigmentation will be difficult and we aim to brighten overall appearance.
